This course has been developed for Plastic Surgeons who want to improve themselves on Deep Plane Facelift Surgery. During this 2-days intensive course, you will learn all the anatomical structures and surgical details related to Deep Plane Facelift Surgery and gain knowledge and experience that will make you feel more comfortable and safe during the surgery. In this course, Dr Kul will share with you the theoretical knowledge of the anatomy and surgery of the Deep Plane Facelift, as well as provide you with practical informations with live cadaver dissection and live surgery. Course Description and Objectives
The attendees will learn details of the all anatomic
regions related deep plane facelift as described below.
Upper face
1.Temporal region: Fascial layers, ligaments, sentinel vein, danger zones for frontal and suprorbital nerves.
2. Periorbital area: Lateral orbital thickening, Chantal tendon, Temporal tunnell, Zygomatic tunnell, preseptal space, Orbicularis oculi muscle, Tear through ligament.
Midface
Prezygomatic space, Zygomatic minor and major muscle, Zygomaticocutaneous Ligaments, Main Zygomatic Ligament, Upper masseteric ligaments, Malar fat pad.
Lower Face and Neck
Lower, middle and upper premasseteric space, Masseteric ligaments, defining the plastysma muscle, subplatysmal space, defining medial border of the platysma(submental approach), subplatysmal fat, digastric muscle , submandibular gland.
